Job summary

G|M Business Interiors in Southern California is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee all fleet operations, maintenance, and asset management across box trucks, vans, and forklifts. You will lead safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing cost and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in fleet management, strong leadership, and experience with telematics and fleet software. Occasional travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid California Driver License with clean driving record.
• 5+ years fleet management experience with commercial vehicles and forklifts.
• Knowledgeable about transportation, maintenance and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety initiatives and establish SOPs for fleet operations.
• Manage preventive maintenance, vehicle registrations, and licensing.
• Oversee compliance with CHP BIT, DMV, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and Cal/OSHA.
• Lead fleet replacement strategies and capital planning.
• Direct vendor sourcing, budgeting and contract administration.
• Maintain fleet KPI dashboards and weekly performance reporting.
