Job summary

G|M Business Interiors in Southern California is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance and operations, from safety programs to lifecycle management of box trucks, passenger vehicles, and forklifts, while fostering a culture of accountability and service.

You will lead budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and compliance with CHP BIT, DMV, DOT, FMCSA, and Cal/OSHA. Drive KPI dashboards, analyze downtime, and implement cost-effective improvements for the fleet.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years fleet management experience with commercial vehicles and forklifts.
• Knowledge of federal and California transportation, maintenance and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet maintenance and safety programs.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with CHP BIT, DMV, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and Cal/OSHA.
• Manage telematics, GPS, and fuel utilization.
• Develop fleet replacement strategies and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate vendor sourcing and contract administration.
• Lead accident investigations and corrective actions.
