Job summary

Flexdrive, a Lyft subsidiary, seeks an Operations Lead in Baltimore to manage a team and oversee a fleet of vehicles, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. You will drive operational excellence through data analysis, develop staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety, compliance, and a great workplace experience at the local site.

Responsibilities include optimizing the Express Drive rental process, reducing downtime, and controlling costs while achieving OKRs and delivering

Qualifications

• 4 years experience managing Retail, customer service, or vehicle rental team.
• 3+ years managing hard assets in a fleet management business preferred.
• Experience managing vendors and partners.
• Ability to coach and develop team members within your org.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and switch modes during the workday/week.
• Lover of dashboards, data, and metrics.
• A valid unrestricted driver's license and insurable under Lyft's policy.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for market’s business health and OKRs; analyze market data for performance gaps.
• Lead the team assisting drivers through Express Drive end-to-end rental process.
• Foster growth through regular 1:1s and constructive feedback.
• Drive utilization by managing vehicle lifecycle and reduce downtime.
• Own talent retention and onboarding for new site members.
• Build relationships with vendors and service providers to optimize quality and turnaround time.
• Ensure site safety, compliance, and a great workplace experience in partnership with cross-functional teams.
