Lyft’s Flexdrive subsidiary in Philadelphia seeks an Operations Lead to drive performance for the Express Drive fleet. You will mentor a team, analyze market data, and optimize vehicle utilization while upholding safety and compliance.

This on-site role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver strong customer experiences and scalable processes. Requires 4+ years in retail, car rental, or fleet management, plus proven staff leadership and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience managing Retail, customer service, or vehicle rental team.
• 3+ years managing hard assets in a fleet management business (car rental, FMC, etc) preferred.
• Experience managing vendors and partners.
• Ability to coach and develop team members within your org.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and switch into different modes during the workday/week.
• Lover of dashboards, data, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for your market’s business health and deliver on Flexdrive OKRs by analyzing market data for performance gaps, managing fleet costs and process improvements.
• Lead the team responsible for assisting Lyft drivers through the Express Drive end-to-end rental process, ensuring trainings and processes are up-to-date.
• Foster team growth with 1:1 meetings and development discussions, coaching with timely feedback.
• Drive high utilization by managing vehicle supply lifecycle from in-fleeting to maintenance to decommissioning and disposition.
• Own talent retention and serve as hiring manager for local site; manage onboarding for new members.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time.
• Serve as primary contact for site maintenance, safety, and compliance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
