Job summary

State of Maine, Central Fleet Management, Augusta, seeks a Fleet Operations Coordinator to guide fleet repairs, authorize services, and manage vehicle assignments across agencies. Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience in automotive service, including one year of administrative experience.
• Knowledge of modern office management principles and procedures.
• Ability to diagnose basic electric and plug‑in vehicle problems.

Responsibilities

• Determine and authorize repairs and maintenance based on vehicle type.
• Receive, document, and register vehicles for service and onboarding.
• Process payments for repairs and vehicle charges with state procurement tools.
• Review vehicle costs and expenditures to guide disposition and budgeting.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and ensure costs align with vehicle type.
