Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead drivers assigned to a customer account and ensure high-quality service with safe, on-time deliveries. You will act as a liaison to the client, addressing performance issues and optimizing schedules while maintaining Hogan's standards.

The role requires strong people management, coaching, and operational planning to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers to meet client expectations and policies.
• Addresses driver performance issues through coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Trains drivers on customer service, safety, and Hogan policies.
• Schedules drivers and routes to maximize profits and on-time deliveries.
• Monitors driver performance and daily activities; prepares daily run schedules.
• Communicates traffic hazards and contingency plans to ensure client needs are met.
• Ensures safety and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Manages payroll accuracy and timeliness for drivers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
