Genuine Parts Company in Georgia seeks a Transportation/Dispatch Lead to manage dock operations, coordinate with multiple locations and drive efficient freight handling under deadlines. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with palletized freight and documentation.

Candidates should have 4 years of dock/warehouse lead experience, 2+ years LTL, and proficiency in MS Office; Kronos, Workday, and McLeod are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of prior dock/warehouse Lead experience in the transportation industry.
• At least 2 years of LTL experience.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsabilités

• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends due to varying freight volumes.
• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using forklift, pallet jack and manual handling.
• Utilize mobile handheld devices for tracking shipments.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Lead Operations Team Training, Development and Performance.
• Coordinate with service centers and other locations to meet deadlines.
