TEKsystems is hiring a Fleet Operations Manager for on-site duties in Kenosha, WI. You will manage a vehicle fleet, coordinate inspections, scheduling, and vendor repairs, while building strong client relationships and ensuring fleet health.

The role emphasizes day-to-day account support, cost-saving recommendations, and process improvements to help clients achieve goals and retain growth. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BS/BA in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years managing rental or fleet vehicles with repair, maintenance, and customer service knowledge.
• 2–5 years customer service or client account management in a B2B service environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a fleet of vehicles and oversee variable fleet units.
• Coordinate inspections, detailing, and cleaning of fleet units.
• Schedule repairs with vendors and track maintenance activities.
• Ensure refueling of returned units and maintain fleet health.
• Build client/vendor relationships and provide proactive account support.
• Maintain records of all activities and drive program improvements with clients.

Do you have experience managing vehicle fleets, Vehicle Rentals, or general operations experience? We are seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to manage a fleet of vehicles for one of our largest clients.

This role will allow you to build and maintain relationships with our customers and provide ongoing day to day account support, recommending cost saving solutions and managing processes to optimize the productivity of their fleet. You will also contribute to the clients ability to achieve their company goals, as well as to attainment of account retention and growth objectives.

A Day in the Life

• Key management of variable fleet units
• Perform detailed pre and post in-service inspections of the variable fleet
• Coordinate light detailing / washing / cleaning of variable fleet units
• Schedule with third-party vendors corrective mechanical and body repairs as to be agreed upon by Buyer, Vendor, and Customer and which may be revised from time to time
• Ensure the refueling of returned units
• Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel and advise on activities to maintain health of fleet
• Schedule and perform record keeping of all activities completed, whether by Vendor or managed by a third-party vendor
• Collaborate with Buyer and Customer to improve program and create greater efficiencies

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• BS or BA in business or related field highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• 1-2 years managing rental or fleet vehicles with an understanding in repair, maintenance, and customer service.
• 2-5 years customer service or client account management experience is highly desirable, preferably in a B2B service environment
• Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to drive and be on your feet up to 8 hrs
• Availability on weekends and some holidays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
