Job summary

SIXT in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Fleet Assistant to support daily fleet operations, manage repairs, track vehicles, and ensure accurate documentation for our rental fleet. You will collaborate with the Fleet Manager to schedule maintenance, obtain estimates, and coordinate with dealerships and body shops.

Prepare new vehicles for rental and assist with disposals and regulatory tasks. This role offers growth opportunities, a supportive team, and an hourly rate of $21.25, with benefits and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 1 year of admin experience in automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with ability to manage fleet inventory, repairs schedules, work orders, and documentation.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 45 ports? 40-hour work week with possible travel (5–10%), some travel by plane.
• Willing to wear company uniform; speaking other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fleet inventory checks and ensure accurate vehicle tracking.
• Assist Fleet Manager by scheduling maintenance/repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships/body shops.
• Prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and proper tagging in inventory system.
• Assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and equipment verification.
• Support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations/renewals for all vehicles.
