Job summary

SIXT is hiring a Fleet Assistant in West Palm Beach to support daily fleet operations, manage vehicle repairs, track inventory, and ensure accurate documentation.

You will assist with maintenance scheduling, liaise with dealerships and body shops, prepare new vehicles for rental, and help with vehicle disposals and tagging. This role offers a 40-hour workweek at $18.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience in an automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fleet inventory checks and maintain accurate vehicle tracking.
• Assist Fleet Manager with scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops.
• Prepare new vehicles for rental, manage documentation, spare keys, and tagging in inventory system.
• Assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and equipment checks.
• Support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations/renewals for all vehicles.
