Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Assistant to support our operations. You will manage daily fleet inventory checks, assist the Fleet Manager with maintenance scheduling, prepare new vehicles for rental, and handle vehicle disposal preparations. You will also support accident reporting and tag registrations, working with dealerships and body shops as needed.

The role offers growth opportunities and an hourly rate of $25.50, with full-time hours and travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of admin office experience in automotive/dealership or car rental.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Excellent organization to manage fleet inventory, repairs schedules, work orders, and documentation.
• Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license with clean record, and eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week, day or evening shifts, and travel 5-10% (including by air).
• Willing to wear company uniform; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will perform daily fleet inventory checks, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking and management
• You will assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops
• You will prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in our inventory system
• You will assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness
• You will support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles
