Job summary

Hunter Communications is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are available, properly maintained, and compliant across locations in Oregon and Northern California.

The role interfaces with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate maintenance, repairs, registrations, insurance, and documentation while tracking downtime, costs, and utilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in an administrative, coordination, or documentation-heavy role (fleet, operations, compliance, safety).
• Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records and produce routine reports.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate and transport Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day tracking of fleet availability and return-to-service dates; communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs, and manage recalls/warranties.
• Review fuel, GPS, and inspection data; identify anomalies and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate new-vehicle delivery, upfitting, licensing, and insurance; assist with retirements.
