Job summary

Lighthouse Electric is seeking a Fleet Specialist to manage daily fleet administration, title and registration processing, and DOT compliance across multiple states. You will partner with the Fleet Manager, operations, safety, and procurement to keep vehicles, equipment, and records compliant and ready for audits.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with vehicle title/registration, DOT/FMCSA rules, and fleet software, plus strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vehicle title and registration processing across multiple states.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance requirements (driver qualification files, inspections, IFTA/IRP).
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for fleet vehicles and equipment, including acquisition, assignment, maintenance history, and disposal.
• Coordinate with Fleet Manager and Supply Chain Director on new vehicle/equipment additions and decommissions.
• Manage fuel cards, telematics, and other auxiliary fleet programs.
• File and monitor vehicle accident claims and generate routine reports on inventory and utilization.
• Process title, registration, and renewal paperwork across states and renewals to avoid lapses.
