Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee all facets of the company’s fleet, including purchasing, maintenance, and regulatory compliance with DOT and IFTA across facilities. The role requires budgeting, vendor management, and policy development to optimize cost and performance.

You will coordinate with the Director of Operations on facility maintenance, route optimization, and capital upgrades while leading branch teams toward safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with five (5) years’ work experience in all areas of fleet management.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, compliance guidelines, financial reports and other legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from employees, regulatory agencies, or business community.
• Ability to present information to management and board of directors.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Class A CDL and driving record within Company MVR policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of fleet operations including purchasing and maintenance.
• Ensure DOT & IFTA compliance at the Branch level.
• Develop budgets and track fleet expenses.
• Analyze and decide vehicle purchases/leasing and equipment.
• Manage supplier programs for maintenance, fuel cards, and admin services.
• Supervise fleet management staff and coordinate with Branch management.
