Job summary

Recology King County in Seattle seeks a Maintenance Shop Coordinator to organize vehicle and equipment acquisition and disposal, ensure DMV/compliance records, and maintain fleet data in the management system.

The role starts at 7am or 8am on-site at the South Seattle Operations Yard, five days a week, and requires coordination with vendors and internal teams. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, with prior fleet management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Four years of customer service and clerical experience.
• Knowledge of fleet management systems and parts preferred.
• Proficiency with purchase orders and inventory control.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle and equipment acquisition and disposal.
• Maintain DMV and compliance records.
• Post daily fleet data into the fleet management system.
• Prepare purchase orders for management approval.
• Process invoices for payment.
• Interact with vendors to coordinate purchasing.
• Reconcile capital requisitions with purchase orders.
• Coordinate asset disposal and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and up-fitters on equipment orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
