Job summary

The role requires 10+ years in power generation operations with multi-site leadership and strong change-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent; substitution allowed for experience.
• 10+ years in power generation operations and maintenance, multi-site leadership.
• 3+ years as Plant Manager or equivalent with safety, availability, budget, and compliance responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong analytical and business-case skills; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence: safety performance, regulatory compliance, reliability/availability, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
• Translate operational drivers into production economics and capital allocation trade-offs.
• Develop fleet metrics, definitions, dashboards, and root-cause analysis routines.
• Lead annual and multi-year planning cycles for O&M budgets, outage plans, and capital plans.
• Develop and execute vendor/contract strategies to optimize cost and performance.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks including safety, environmental, and cyber/OT risks; ensure corrective actions.
• Support M&A due diligence, integration planning, and stand-up of new sites.
• Enable multi-technology execution across the fleet and adapt standards as new technologies are introduced.
• Build a high-performance culture; drive accountability, training, and succession planning.
• Collaborate across Environmental, H&S, HR, Engineering, Development, and Asset Management to align goals.
