Job summary

United Future is seeking a Director of Operations to stand up and scale centralized fleet-wide operations across multiple sites. You will design uniform operating standards, management systems, and performance cadences, and lead integration of new assets with cross-functional partners to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations capable of absorbing growth.

The role requires 10+ years in power generation operations, 3+ years as a Plant Manager or equivalent, and a BS in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent; substitution allowed year-for-year with relevant work experience.
• 10+ years in power generation operations and maintenance, including multi-site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across safety, reliability, availability, efficiency, and cost.
• Collaborate on fleet metrics, dashboards, and standard definitions for reporting.
• Lead annual and multi-year planning cycles including budgets and capital plans.
• Develop vendor/contract strategies to optimize cost and performance.
• Support M&A due diligence, integration planning, and stand-up of new sites.
