Job summary

SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain a diverse fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, and heavy equipment in the Denver area. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply with on-the-job training offered. A valid driver's license is required, and CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical certification in diesel repair is a plus.
• Experience with diesel engines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engines and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety policies and document work in company systems.
• Stay updated on diesel technology through training.
• Assist with on-the-job training for entry-level technicians.
