Job summary

SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is seeking Fleet Mechanics to maintain and repair a fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment. Training and on-the-job support are provided for newcomers to diesel mechanics.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and rebuild engine components while ensuring safety and reliability to meet delivery schedules. The role offers overtime, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components like engines, starters, and transmissions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety policies.
