Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain a fleet of mixer trucks and heavy equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification is a plus.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems preferred.
• Willingness to work variable shifts and perform on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engines and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety compliance and keep accurate records.
• Stay updated on diesel technology through ongoing learning.
