Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician—Class C to service tractors, trailers, and related equipment in a delivery fleet. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain records in our maintenance system.

The role requires EPA 608/609 licenses within 12 months, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to train on Cummins Insite and Bendix ACOM. Night/weekend shifts and outdoor work are possible.

Qualifications

• EPA 608/609 Licenses must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to train in fleet repair including platforms such as Cummins Insite and Bendix ACOM.
• Demonstrated knowledge of transportation equipment, fuel use and DEF handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to Chick-fil-A safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tractors and straight trucks have sufficient DEF for deliveries.
• Maintain accurate fuel and DEF dispensing records per regulations.
• Wash tractors, trailers, and trucks to maintain cosmetic appearance and sanitation.
• Operate safety and environmental equipment during fueling and washing tasks.
• Record repairs and work orders in the Fleet Maintenance Management System.
• Perform preventative maintenance like battery checks and lubrication.
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair equipment and components.
• Raise trucks and heavy parts using jacks or hoists.
• Communicate problems to Supervisor promptly.
• Follow traffic laws and transport procedures; adhere to FMCSA guidelines.
