Job summary

CFA Supply seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician—Class B to service Chick-fil-A delivery equipment, including heavy tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs to maximize fleet availability.

Role requires 2 years of relevant experience, ability to work nights/weekends, and EPA licenses within 6 months. Basic hand tools and MS Office proficiency are expected. Training and mentorship available in a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must acquire EPA 608 & EPA 609 Licenses within 6 months of hire.
• Tech must provide basic hand tools.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing brake systems (air and hydraulic).
• Working knowledge of diesel engines and refrigeration systems.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties by following Chick-fil-A safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Document repairs and work orders in the Fleet Maintenance Management System.
• Close out work orders in a timely manner with required information.
• Repair delivery equipment, tractors, trailers, passenger vehicles, or any delivery equipment.
• Inspect brake, steering, suspension systems for safe operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, liftgates, refrigeration, and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose repairs using Cummins InSite, Eaton Road Ranger, Bendix ACON, Davie 4, Carrier E-solutions.
• Use hand tools and power tools; raise heavy parts with jacks or hoists.
• Communicate problems with Supervisor; comply with traffic laws.
• Document maintenance activities; use MS Office.
• Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Guidelines.
• Possibly operate a company vehicle for roadside service calls.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Train other employees and mentor; support quarterly driver training and safety events.
