Job summary

Chick-fil-A Fleet Maintenance is seeking a skilled Technician to service tractors, trailers, and related delivery equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting all repairs. The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, and EPA licenses within 6 months. On-site work with potential night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must acquire EPA 608 & EPA 609 Licenses within 6 months of hire.
• Tech must provide basic hand tools.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing brake systems (air & hydraulic).
• Knowledge of diesel engines and refrigeration systems; capable of repairs under supervision.
• Experience with hydraulic liftgates and lift equipment; able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods and lift 30–60 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chick-fil-A safety standards in all tasks.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Document repairs and maintenance in Fleet Maintenance Management System.
• Close out work orders promptly with required information.
• Repair delivery equipment, tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Inspect brake, steering, suspension systems for safe operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, liftgates, refrigeration, and material handling equipment.
• Use tools and technology for diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate issues with Supervisor and adhere to regulations.
