Job summary

ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, seeks a Fleet Manager for our new Atlanta terminal. You will serve as the critical link between drivers and customers, building trust with owner-operators and supporting daily operations to deliver on-time service and productivity.

The role requires 2–5 years in intermodal transport, DOT knowledge, and strong communication. You will manage loads, negotiate rates, and drive contractor performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience working with fleet of contractors/owner-operators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinker in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize and execute time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise the fleet of owner-operators.
• Monitor delivery performance, fleet profitability and regulatory compliance.
• Assign equipment as needed.
• Plan delivery loads for efficient drop-offs and pickups.
• Negotiate contractor rates and coordinate with the Customer Success team.
• Develop relationships with contractors to improve performance.
• Resolve disputes involving contractors.
• Ensure DOT compliance and coordinate required training.
