Job summary

World Group, a portfolio of logistics brands, is seeking a Fleet Manager for our Cleveland, OH terminal. You will lead and support a fleet of owner-operators, ensuring on-time service and productive deliveries while building strong relationships with drivers and customers.

The role requires 2–5 years in intermodal/trucking, knowledge of DOT regulations, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with dispatch software (TMS) and MS Office is essential, plus a proactive, safety‑minded mindset.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 2–5 years of intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Experience working with a fleet of contractors/owner operators.
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and owner-operators.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise our fleet of owner-operators.
• Monitor and ensure effective delivery performance, fleet profitability and regulatory compliance.
• Assign equipment as needed.
• Maximize efficiency and profitability of every delivery.
• Oversee fair distribution of loads amongst contractors.
• Plan and execute order of deliveries for efficient load drop-offs and pickups.
• Coordinate with Customer Success team for loads.
• Negotiate rates with contractors outside the ICOA.
• Develop relationships with contractors to improve performance and retention.
• Resolve disputes involving contractors.
