Job summary

ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, seeks a Fleet Manager for our Cleveland terminal to lead and support a network of owner-operators, ensuring on-time service and productive deliveries.

You will build relationships with drivers and customers, monitor performance, enforce DOT compliance, coordinate loads, and collaborate with the Customer Success team to optimize routing and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience working with fleet of contractors/owner operators.
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise our fleet of owner-operators.
• Monitor and ensure effective and efficient delivery performance, fleet profitability and compliance with regulations.
• Assign equipment as needed.
• Maximize efficiency and profitability of every delivery.
• Oversee fair and equitable distribution of loads amongst contractors.
• Plan and execute order of deliveries to create efficient load drop-offs and pickups.
• Coordinate with Customer Success team on loads.
