Job summary

Hub Group in the United States is seeking a dispatcher to coordinate Class A drivers, ensuring on-time delivery and DOT compliance. You will manage load entry, dispatch, and freight bill accuracy while supporting administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Focus on Safety, Service, Cost, Professionalism and Respect.
• Dispatching Class A Drivers to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, equipment utilization and DOT compliance.
• Ensure accurate load entry, dispatch and on time delivery.
• Prepare freight bills with attention to detail.
• Serve as backup to administrative duties as needed.
• Enforce company safety policies and training with safety bulletins and tailgate meetings.
• Assist with Monthly IIPP Yard and Office Safety Checklists and report to Site Manager.
• Ensure Hours of Service, DOT and state regulations compliance; audit DOT paper logs and/or E-logs.
• Ensure tractors and trailers are PM/BIT inspected within timelines; document damages.
• Charge all preventable damages to responsible parties and audit fuel purchases.
