Job summary

Heniff Transportation is seeking a Driver Manager/Dispatcher to optimize driver operations and ensure safe, efficient load movements. You will assign jobs, maintain driver relationships, and coordinate with customers for timely service.

The role requires strong organizational, administrative and analytical abilities, with DOT/OSHA familiarity and a flexible schedule. Travel to corporate office and other locations may be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to travel to corporate office and other locations.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers to ensure their needs are met.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner with customers to ensure high service levels.
• Maximize driver availability to fully utilize equipment for maximum revenue.
• Review dispatch sheets and driver assignments to ensure loads are dispatched.
• Enter load information into the TMW system and prepare delivery receipts.
• Provide documentation and communicate to drivers all pertinent information for scheduled loads.
• Report to terminal management and participate in safety compliance.
• Support efficient, safe movement of loaded trucks and scheduling of loads.
