Job summary

Xpress Global Systems, Inc. seeks a Maintenance - Vendor Supervisor to oversee a network of vendors performing tractor-trailer and forklift repairs. You will manage work orders, review estimates, audit invoices, and coordinate up-time for the fleet.

The role focuses on maintaining DOT compliance, cultivating vendor relationships, and documenting repair details. Expect regular interactions with drivers and terminal management, with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 10 AM.

Qualifications

• Clear understanding of heavy equipment (Class 5-8), trailers and forklifts.
• Good communication with drivers, terminal management and vendors.
• Experience with Maintenance Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance via network of vendors to DOT-compliant standards.
• Manage work requests and invoices; approve repairs.
• Monitor KPIs: cost, uptime, PM currency.
• Document repair orders with cause, diagnosis and correction.
• Negotiate vendor estimates and final billing.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the workplace.
