Job summary

U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Support role at Tunnel Hill to coordinate repair status with lease drivers and internal teams. You will work with maintenance personnel and vendors to minimize downtime and costs, while managing yard-related tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in truck/auto service, strong Excel and basic accounting skills, and familiarity with repair invoicing. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in truck/auto service and/or parts preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and basic accounting understanding.
• Familiarity with VMRS coding and repair invoicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal departments and Lease Drivers on repair status.
• Act as liaison among maintenance, contract drivers, and service providers to minimize downtime.
• Yard management duties as part of workload.
• Obtain cost estimates for major component failures and repairs.
• Authorize repairs within policy limits and review invoices for accuracy.
