Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) seeks an experienced maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery such as hydraulic compactors, backhoes, wheel loaders and related equipment for daily district operations.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, welding, electrical, tire and hydraulic repairs, and perform duties as assigned to keep pumps, motors and service vehicles running safely.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of experience with light/heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, welding, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery such as hydraulic compactors, backhoes, wheel loaders, roll-off trucks, and related equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance, welding, electrical, tire and hydraulic repairs.
• Will be assigned various related duties as necessary.
