Job summary

Greenmark Waste Solutions in Dallas-Fort Worth seeks a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment. Under the Fleet Manager, you will service chassis, refuse bodies, air brake systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, and drive trains.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems, perform welding, estimate parts, and assist senior mechanics. The role requires physical effort, 40 hours weekly, and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Weld and fabricate using arc, gas, aluminum welding and related processes.
• Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts.
• Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times.
