Job summary

Greenmark Waste Solutions, based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, seeks a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of the Fleet Manager.

The role involves diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems, plus welding and parts estimation. Candidates should have 3 years of heavy-duty truck experience, a valid license, and be able to work 40 hours plus some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Be over 21 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Performs welding processes including arc, gas, aluminum welding, brazing, plastic welding and soldering.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Repair refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area and complete required paperwork.
