Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for the day shift in Phoenixville, PA. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to keep our fleet reliable, while diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, teamwork, and staying current with industry regulations. Shift is Mon-Fri, with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within a values-driven company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent.
• Ability to read precision instruments and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues.
• Must provide own tools and be CDL-optional depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Build, rebuild and repair fleet equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical breakdowns on trucks and trailers.
• Read micrometers, dial indicators, voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and analyze failures; perform welding as needed.
• Follow DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations; maintain safety.
