Job summary

The technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and use precision instruments to ensure quality workmanship. This position requires hands-on problem solving in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Maintenance technician experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with truck repair, body and frame repair.
• Must provide own tools to perform job duties.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and records.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (when required).
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules.
• Willingness to participate in training classes offered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Repair company equipment in a safe, timely, cost effective manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical failures in trucks and trailers.
• Read precision instruments and use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Weld as needed for truck repairs and bodywork.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations.
