FedEx Freight is seeking Fleet Maintenance Technicians in California to maintain a fleet of tractors, trailers, and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure safety and reliability, with documentation completed electronically.

Position offers hourly pay between $36.02 and $37.11, shift differential, tool reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement for ASE certifications. ADA assistance available for applicants with disabilities.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma (or GED) preferred.
• At least 1 year vehicle maintenance experience or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on work assignment.
• Knowledge of testing equipment, gauges and tools for troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills including maintenance programs and diagnostic systems.
• Basic knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
• Able to lift components weighing ~110 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Paint and body work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventive and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify source of trouble and makes necessary adjustments for safe operation.
• Works with technicians in performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures proper and accurate documentation of all maintenance performed.
• Performs safety inspections and documents the work; paint and body work as required.
• Complies with laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
