Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to deliver timely repairs and preventive maintenance for tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment.

You will diagnose issues, work with teammates, and maintain accurate documentation of all work performed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and either an ASE certification or CDL, with hands-on experience in heavy vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED), preferred.
• One year of vehicle maintenance experience or a vehicle maintenance certificate within 60 days, or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and make adjustments for safe operation.
• Collaborate with other technicians to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance performed in writing and electronically.
