Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will support our fleet with routine service and basic repairs while working on state-of-the-art vehicles.

This role offers training on new technologies and a clear path for professional growth. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience, knowledge of vehicle systems, and a valid driver's license; certification in diesel maintenance or ASE T8 PM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs such as oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and light electrical work.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
