Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work under supervision and gain exposure to advanced vehicle technologies while supporting drivers on daily routes.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to troubleshoot common faults. A valid driver's license is preferred as travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Inspect vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and perform basic repairs.
• Change oils, fluids, tires, and perform light repairs as needed.
