Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under supervision, you will service trucks and keep our fleet in top condition to support drivers on their routes.

You'll inspect mechanical and electrical systems, conduct oil changes, tire changes, and light repairs, with opportunities to learn new technologies and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and light repairs.
• Inspects and troubleshoots mechanical/electrical issues in vehicles and trucks.
• Performs oil changes, fluids replenishment, and tire changes.
• Performs light repairs and basic electrical work as needed.
