Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, engines, HVAC, and suspension systems. Work on highly advanced vehicles and support our drivers on routes with state-of-the-art equipment.

You will tackle complex repairs, receive training on new technologies, and have opportunities for career growth within a stable industry. Competitive wages and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose multi-system issues with strong technical expertise.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• LNG/CNG experience is a plus but not required.
• Class B or higher CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge and proficiency in chassis, drivetrain, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Repair and maintenance of refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics, fuel systems and aftertreatment systems.
• Electrical concerns diagnosed with scan tools and line welding.
• Complete company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
