The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor at Republic Services will lead a team of technicians in a busy shop, ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel and alternate-fuel trucks, containers, and heavy equipment are completed safely and efficiently. You will plan work, monitor performance, and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to improve processes.

You will supervise hiring, training, and evaluations, conduct quality checks, and manage shop inventory and expenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with ASE certifications.
• 3 years supporting heavy equipment maintenance and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with DOT/OSHA rules and safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coach the technician team to perform safe, timely repairs.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for fleet assets.
• Monitor performance, report to management, and propose improvements.
• Oversee shop inventory, budget, and expense approvals within scope.
• Conduct quality checks, road tests, and safety inspections.
