Job summary

Recology King County is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in Snohomish to lead maintenance staff across shifts, overseeing vehicle and equipment service, yard and facility upkeep, and safety compliance.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, experience with union personnel, and the ability to coordinate parts, tools, and recordkeeping while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Related management experience or supervisory experience, including union personnel.
• Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workflow, adjusts schedules, and assigns employees to rebalance workload and minimize downtime.
• Supports the Equipment Maintenance Manager in ensuring all facets of maintenance operations are met.
• Ensures maintenance personnel follow policies for inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
