Job summary

Recology Western Oregon - Valley in McMinnville seeks an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to supervise maintenance staff, balance workloads, and ensure safe, compliant service and repair of vehicles and equipment.

You will support the Maintenance Manager, assist with parts purchasing and records, and respond to emergencies 24/7. A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with related supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Related management experience or supervision of union personnel.
• Knowledge of budgeting, planning and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workflow, adjusts schedules, and assigns employees to rebalance workload and minimize downtime.
• Supports the Maintenance Manager in ensuring all maintenance operations are met.
• Ensures adherence to policies for inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
• Assists with purchasing parts, supplies, tools, and machinery as needed.
• Maintains records for service, repair, parts, inventory, vehicles, and equipment activities.
• Conducts inspections and audits to ensure safe, compliant maintenance operations and safety.
• Responds to equipment emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Other duties as assigned
