Job summary

Elizabeth River Crossings seeks a Shop Foreman to lead the fleet and equipment team, supervising maintenance, repairs, inventory, and work orders for ERC-owned vehicles and equipment. This is a working position with hands-on duties in addition to administrative tasks.

You will plan schedules, direct daily operations, ensure QA/QC, manage parts inventory, and coordinate with contractors while training new staff and maintaining safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience repairing and maintaining diverse equipment.
• Experience leading a maintenance team or supervising others.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce detailed service reports.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet and equipment operations and assignments.
• Direct maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Manage parts inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure safety training, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance.
