Job summary

PB Materials seeks a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to organize maintenance, track repairs, and maintain records for fleet systems in Texas. You will work with maintenance and transportation teams to schedule service, manage parts inventory, and ensure accurate labor and parts reporting.

You will also generate purchase orders, maintain DOT files, and oversee tool readiness to support safe, efficient operations across our fleet.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office Applications experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and work in a team setting and independently.
• Adhere to Permian Basin Materials Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Arrange, coordinate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules from review of pre- and post-trip tickets.
• Originate and close Work Orders of fleet maintenance.
• Coordinate with the transportation department to schedule routine maintenance of fleet vehicles.
• Maintain and control parts inventory including arranging for purchases utilizing established procedures.
• Utilize and maintain fleet database to track and schedule repairs, unit labor hours, and parts.
• Assist maintenance staff with creating Purchase Orders and picking up parts when needed.
• Ensure mechanics have necessary standard tools and service manuals.
• Assist mechanics and Fleet Manager with cost reporting.
• Set up and maintain DOT required files for vehicles and mechanics.
• Assist mechanics with maintaining an orderly shop and cleaning the offices when needed.
• Performs other duties as directed.
