Fleet Maintenance Manager (Finance)
Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck maintenance. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in diesel mechanics/technology, and two years of management experience; or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to operate all tools and equipment associated with a diesel engine shop, trucks, tractors, trailers
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain confidentiality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
- Familiarity with truck maintenance terms and processes
- Willingness to continue education

- Bachelor's Degree
- Participation in non-degree programs
- Experience directing or participating in projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage excellent customer service among associates
- Coordinate fleet availability
- Schedule maintenance and produce mechanics' schedules
- Develop and upgrade fleet information systems
- Obtain permits and licenses; maintain records of permits and licenses
- Maintain inventory of repair parts and equipment; requisition replacements
- Purchase parts for the maintenance department
- Prepare fuel inventory and reports
- Prepare repair reports and vehicle requests
- Review lifecycle costing reports
- Maintain and evaluate tires
- Recommend capital purchases of new equipment
- Select vendors
- Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends
- Travel to offsite locations to support business needs
