Job summary

Doodie Calls is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day fleet maintenance program across our Texas and Louisiana operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs for a growing fleet of trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.

You will develop and coach technicians, ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, and collaborate with Operations and Safety to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fleet maintenance or related environment.
• Experience leading technicians or maintenance personnel.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and inspection processes.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA vehicle inspection, maintenance, repair, and recordkeeping requirements.
• CDL status and understanding of commercial vehicle regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fleet maintenance activities across Texas and Louisiana operations.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for commercial trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
• Ensure maintenance on schedule per company standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Develop and lead fleet technicians and maintenance staff.
• Prioritize repairs based on safety, compliance, and operational needs.
• Monitor breakdowns, road calls, downtime, and overdue maintenance.
