Job summary

Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee our growing fleet operations across Texas.

You\'ll build and manage the maintenance program while staying hands-on in the field, supporting work trucks, utility vehicles, telehandlers, and aerial lifts. This full-time, Texas-based role requires travel to project sites, driving uptime, regulatory compliance, cost control, and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles, heavy equipment, or commercial fleets.
• ASE certification in automotive or diesel systems or equivalent.
• Proficiency with fleet management, maintenance tracking, and digital service records.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the preventive maintenance schedule for all fleet assets.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, electrical systems in the field.
• Coordinate repairs with dealerships and third-party providers to minimize downtime.
• Plan service activities across multiple locations to maximize fleet availability and efficiency.
