Job summary

DIGCO, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Fleet Manager in Shreveport, LA to oversee maintenance of vehicles, HDD equipment, and support assets. You will manage preventive maintenance, DOT compliance records, parts procurement, and vendor relationships to keep crews moving.

This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to work in all weather, travel within the district, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with fleet vehicles and construction equipment.
• familiarity with DOT/FMCSA recordkeeping requirements and DVIRs.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance schedules and keep detailed records.
• Willingness to travel within the district and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Conduct field service calls to restore equipment and minimize downtime.
• Maintain DOT maintenance files and regulatory documentation; ensure audit readiness.
• Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for all fleet assets.
• Source, order and manage parts and manage vendor relationships for parts and services.
• Coordinate with shop mechanics, project managers, and field supervisors for equipment deployment.
